Did you know Sarnia is home to one of Canada’s largest oil refineries? Our government has unveiled a plan to work with Alberta to build the proposed Northern Shield Energy Corridor, strengthening Canada’s energy security and economy.
The proposed 3,300-kilometre pipeline would connect Alberta’s oil sands to Ontario’s refineries, helping move more Canadian energy across the country, support good-paying jobs and reduce reliance on foreign markets.
