Christmas Open House 2025

December 27, 2025

On December 27, 2025, MPP Deepak Anand’s Community Office hosted its Annual Christmas Open House, welcoming families from Mississauga–Malton to celebrate the holiday season together.

Guests were welcomed into a beautifully decorated space transformed into a winter wonderland, featuring sparkling holiday lights, a Christmas tree, and a charming miniature village display. Families enjoyed food, snacks, and hot beverages, while children of all ages took part in hands-on activities such as bracelet making and holiday-themed activity sheets. Every child also received a gift, adding to the excitement of the day.

The Open House offered families a chance to spend quality time together, take photos at festive displays, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.

“In winter, I can always count on our Mississauga–Malton community to bring warmth and light to the season,” said MPP Deepak Anand. “Seeing families come together to celebrate, laugh, and create memories is what the holidays are all about. I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year, and thank the volunteers and everyone who helped make this event possible.”

Families shared their appreciation for the annual celebration. One mother said, “My family and I had so much fun taking pictures at the Christmas arch, putting on the reindeer hats, and being immersed in the winter wonderland. It was such a joyful experience.” Another mother added, “My kids loved the Christmas decorations and the presents so much. They can’t wait to come back again next year.”

The Annual Christmas Open House continues to be a meaningful way for the community to gather, celebrate the season, and strengthen local connections.
