Our government continues to make meaningful progress in connecting Ontarians to the primary care they deserve.
By expanding the health-care workforce, supporting team-based care, and reducing administrative barriers, our government is helping ensure more Ontarians can receive timely, continuous care close to home. Reducing wait times and relieving pressure on hospitals.
Through Ontario’s Health Care Connect program, the province has now cleared 75 per cent of the waitlist, successfully connecting more than 275,000 patients with a family doctor or primary care provider.
Our government remains committed to building a stronger, more accessible health-care system that puts patients first and delivers real results for communities like Mississauga–Malton.
