On March 12, 2026, MPP Deepak Anand’s Community Office proudly hosted its annual International Women’s Day event, bringing together inspiring women from across Mississauga–Malton for an afternoon of connection, recognition, and empowerment. The gathering created a welcoming space for women entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders to share their experiences and celebrate their achievements.
Guests had the opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections with others who are making a difference across various sectors, including manufacturing and logistics. The event highlighted the important role women continue to play in driving innovation, strengthening our local economy, and uplifting future generations.
“It was inspiring to see so many incredible women come together, share their journeys, and support one another,” said MPP Deepak Anand. “Their leadership, resilience, and dedication continue to shape a stronger and more vibrant Mississauga–Malton.”
Attendees expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to connect and learn from one another, with many noting how valuable it was to be in a space that encourages collaboration and growth.
The International Women’s Day event was a meaningful reminder of the power of community and the importance of celebrating the achievements of women not just today, but throughout the year. We look forward to continuing this important conversation and building even stronger connections in the future.
