Ontario is making it easier for veterans and active members of the Canadian Armed Forces to enjoy the province’s world-class parks with their families.
Eligible veterans and active Canadian Armed Forces members can now receive free day-use access to Ontario Parks seven days a week, expanding on the previous program and providing more opportunities to experience Ontario’s natural beauty throughout the year.
Whether it’s hiking scenic trails, enjoying a picnic, spending time by the water or introducing family and friends to Ontario’s incredible outdoor spaces, this expanded access recognizes the service and sacrifices of those who have served our country.
This initiative is another way Ontario is showing its appreciation for the men and women who have dedicated themselves to protecting Canadians while encouraging more families to get outdoors and explore everything the province has to offer.
