Community Volunteer Income Tax program is a great program that connects volunteers with eligible low-income individuals who need help preparing their tax returns.

Will the government offer financial assistance if needed?
Our government offers different services to individuals who may need financial assistance.
These services include:
- Ontario Works
- provides money to help cover the cost of basic needs
- Home and Vehicle Modification Program
- provides funding for basic home and/or vehicle modifications so that people with mobility restrictions can live safely
- Medical Expense Tax Credit
- non-refundable tax credit that can be used to reduce the tax that you paid or may have to pay
